Except for my inner child.

Why do you ask? Well it's almost Christmas of course. Christmas, vacation, or if Adam Ant had a concert where I live were the times I get insomnia. Christmas was the worst cause my brain kept rolling around with, "What am I getting?!?!" Even during my teens and young adult days I still had this problem. Just recently I figured out I need to medicate myself, so I can sleep. It works until I wake up and then well give it up I'm up.

Now why am I blogging in the wee hours of Dec 24th?

I think my inner child is gonna be sad this year.

Yes, I know what I typed, but it's true. This is the year my inner child will have to take a backseat to the adult part of me.

Again I hear you ask why.

I was not able to get all my shopping done. If it weren't got the Internet, I would have been screwed. Why? Well Dad's car suddenly became out of commission, and we (Mom, Dad, and myself) had to depend on baby sister.

Anyway, I was not able to finish my Christmas shopping. Add a leaning Christmas tree (one of the legs is bowed), and you see how my spirits might be dampened.

But it's not all about the present, right? That's very true even though my inner child would love to have a gob of gifts, I will make up for that by ordering the Vana D'eil collection 2009 on Saturday. Now this is what I hate: I hate not being able to give gifts to the people I love. Heck, I wanted to get gifts for Buddy and Sammy my parents' two dogs, but wasn't able to do so.

I wanted to give more than just one gift to my niece, but not this year. I did tell her that she'll be getting one gift from me this time around, and she said that was okay.

Growing up sucks even on the inside.

Now be that as it may Christmas Eve and Day will be good. Why? Dang you ask that a lot. ;) Cause I'll be with my family. We will have loads of goodies to eat, watch some movies, open the gifts we do have for one another, and be thankful.

Also my niece is going to show me Animal Crossing for the Wii. :D

Sky's The Limit!

I both love and hate Sky all at the same time. I hate it cause it's going on at a time when I could be napping. I make sure to sleep as late as possible without being late; however, today was no such luck. Luckily it ended earlier than usual, and I proceeded to head back to bed and crashed.

I love Sky cause I have met so many wonderful people. Plus, when I'm in the zone I have a great time being a White Mage. I also like getting money and crystals (yes I am that easy to please) since right now I have all the gear I want from there. Well that is unless someone says ,"Hey Carletta you're gonna need this!"

Oh and is it normal for me to enjoy farming days rather than Gods days? Yes, I'm weird.

Oh and I also enjoy talking on vent during Sky time. It does help pass the time.

Next week however, a real life event will be going on. My sister and I have a Sweepers (contest and such) meeting/ Christmas party that we are planning to attend, and it's gonna be held around the time Sky is happening.

In other FFXI news, with help from the Angels of Anarcky Linkshell got the Guustav tunnel fight done for the Shantotto add on. My spell checker just went ape shit. :D Anyway, I'm not good planning my own parties, so whenever I hear one I try my best to jump on it. Still need that darn Chamber of Oracles fight for the Moogle add on.

Oh and I dinged Dark Knight to 35 and used my VIT spell!

Yep, I had a very productive day / night!

I Go Out Blogging After Midnight...

Yes, I had this bad habit of trying to post anything in my LJ before midnight. Why? I do not know, but I'm kicking the habit now. Whenever I feel like saying something not matter what time it is I will.

Okay. In game I dinged Dark Knight to 34. When I reach 35 I can use the spell (Absorb VIT) that I got off of a Goblin Reaper a few days before with my Ranger. Still trying to get my lower end job to at least 37, and thank Altana for Fields of Valor books. :)

Real life saw me ordering Chinese food today. Dad's car isn't working, so I don't know when I'll be going to the grocery store (and for that matter Christmas shopping). Think I'll so do some more on line shopping either later today or Sunday. As for what I ordered, I had yummy broccoli and shrimp with a pupu platter. At least it will get me through Sky tomorrow.

As you can see real life and game life can collide at times with me. >_>

Just wait until I start talking about my Face Book addiction! :D However, I'll have to save that for another time.

Second Post...

My sister is helping me to set up my very own blog since all my Tweets are all on Livejournal. Yes, I have finally entered into 2007. :D

So how about them Cowboy's? Really not, but hey must type something.

Okay Christmas. Got most of my online shopping done, but I still need to go out and shop and do some impulse shopping. Also need to get my tree up. so I'll be having the Christmas crazzies in about 2 weeks from now.

Things I'll talk about in here: Life, travels, holidays, dogs Buddy and Sammy, love and sex (hahahahahahahahahahaha), Final Fantasy XI, and if I get frustrated about something.

I'll think of better stuff to type here later.
